Lebanese guitar maestro ALAN AZAR has recorded some tunes for the new Disney movie “Planes“. According to theFacebook Page of the Lebanese Metal magazine Metal Bell, he hadn’t only recorded for the movie but he had also composed a part of its music.

“Planes” is Disney’s upcoming animated action-packed comedic adventure starring Dusty, a big-hearted, fast-flying crop duster who dreams of competing in the most exhilarating around-the-world air race in history. There’s only a couple of not-so-small problems: Dusty is not exactly built for racing and he also happens to be afraid of heights. The movie will be premieredon 9th August.

ALAN AZAR recently left Beirut to relocate to Los Angeles, USA. Regarding this issue, the guitarist posted the following statement on his Facebook Page:

“People of Planet Earth, I have to say moving to Los Angeles will not affect my musical career but will raise it up more. I will always be there for you, no matter where on the planet, music will never stop, I will continue with my career till forever. For the meanwhile I have some projects in Los Angeles with bands and hopefully I will be recording my 3rd album here. I want to thank all my fans in Lebanon and the area for being very supportive always, I send all my love to you. hopefully I will be there soon and I will be performing to you my new materials.

As we previously reported, the guitarist has recently released a new video for “Into Space“, a track taken from the guitarist’s sophomore album “The Cosmologist“.
